About MyWHT

MyWHT helps businesses in Malaysia pay withholding tax on payments to foreign companies. It lists what the CP37 form asks for, the company's tax number (TIN), name and address, next to the rate to use.

Why it exists

Paying a foreign company for software, ads or services usually means withholding tax, and the CP37 form needs that company's TIN. There's no public list of them, so businesses ask LHDN one at a time, often for the same companies. MyWHT shares the answers, so each one is asked only once.

Where the details come from

Fixing mistakes

If something is wrong or out of date, you can . When a company's TIN, name or address changes, its page keeps the old details under “Previous details”, so you can still match earlier filings.

If a company you pay isn't listed, you can .

What MyWHT isn't

MyWHT is independent and not affiliated with LHDN. It's a reference, not tax advice, so check with LHDN or your tax adviser before you file.
